The choir has been running since March 2013. Set up with funding from the Near Neighbours Fund (Church Urban fund), the choir welcomes people from all faiths and none.

3.Autumn: 03/09/19 to 26/11/19 inclusive one week off 15th October.
NB There will be some Summer singing sessions in the villages of Pendle – with free transport from Brierfield on 27 July, 10 August and 17 August. These are all Saturday mornings except for 17 August which will finish a little later (3.30 p.m.) following a performance to your friends and relatives in Downham Village Hall.
There will also be a special performance called Finding Ethel at Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre on Friday 22 November (preceeded by at least one rehearsal probably on 16th November (day time) and one additional evening in the week commencing 18 November.
Special session for Easter
If you are free during the afternoon of Tuesday the 16th April
, 2.30 – 4.00, you may wish to join Janet at this Event at Pendle Heritage Centre
when she will be introducing the Pendle Hill Song Fellowship and singing some good Lancashire songs. All welcome. You can read more about the Pendle Hill Song Fellowship here
In the last week, it has been suggested that we end with one of our lovely recent songs. We will try doing that on a regular basis – choosing a song that we really love and ending with it. Suggestions please to Janet – firstname.lastname@example.org
Holidays coming up
Please remember we are off in 2 weeks time, so there will be no session on 9 and 16 April. We will be back on Tuesday 23 April. And remember if you would like an extra session over Easter you can join Janet at Pendle Heritage Centre on Tuesday 16 April from 2.30 til 4.00.
On Tuesday 16th April, week leading to Easter, there will be no choir in the evening, but you are invited to a special singing session in the afternoon.
This will be at Pendle Heritage Centre in Barrowford. It is worth a visit – especially if you have never been before, and you will get chance to hear all about the Pendle Song Fellowship, as well as sing some interesting songs!
It will also be a great opportunity to recruit some new people to our group.
